Precision Mobile Car Detailing is owner-operated out of Edmonton. We come to your home, your office, or your apartment parking, and we treat every vehicle like it's the only one we'll touch that day — because that's how you get results that actually last.
Why I started this
I grew up in Edmonton. I know what YEG roads do to cars. Ten months of road salt, construction dust, July bugs, magpie gifts — by the time most people get around to detailing, they're not looking for a car wash, they're looking for a rescue.
The shops I went to as a customer always felt like a compromise. Long waits. Vague pricing. The nagging sense that whoever touched my car was halfway out the door to the next one. I thought I could do better — slower, cleaner, by appointment, on the customer's driveway — so I did.
What "Precision" actually means
It's not marketing. It's the rule I wrote down on day one: every detail ends with a walkaround. I go around the car with the customer (or take photos if they're not there), and if there's a smudge, a streak, a spot I missed, I fix it before I pack up. No exceptions.
That's a small thing that costs me ten extra minutes and earns the trust of someone who's deciding whether to call back in three months — or to tell three friends.
Why mobile, specifically
Because your time is the most expensive thing I'd be charging you for if you had to drop the car off. A shop detail means two trips, probably a rideshare, an afternoon killed. Mobile means you text me your address, I show up, and you get back a clean car without rearranging your day.
I bring my own water, my own power, and all the equipment. You need a parking spot and a signature. That's it.
Who I am
I'm a Canadian-born business owner, raised here in Alberta with roots in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. I'm 32, I've been around cars my whole life, and Precision is the business I built because I wanted to work for myself and do work I could actually be proud of. There's no call center. When you call 780-224-3004, you're calling me.
I'm also writing a book in parallel with running this — a project called The Fingerprint. Different craft, same instinct: the details are the point. The fingerprint you leave on something you cared enough to do right is the whole reason to do it at all.
The long game
Right now we're a one-van operation. That's intentional. I'd rather earn twenty loyal customers who call me back every season than sprint to fifty one-time bookings. Good detailing is a trust business, and trust is slow.
